"BHAGAVAD GITA_as it is - A Religious Book or a Treasure Box ???

  As I was born in a Hindu family, I saw every middle aged or old religious people worshiping this holy book but unable to justify the "slokas". The common practice of placing the sacred GITA at home is believed to pave the way to heaven. From my childhood I was always curious to know what was written in this book and why is it getting so much attention from people.   I tried to read it in my home temple, but when my grandma noticed me messing with this holy thing she ordered me to put it in it's place and to pray asking forgiveness for my sin (seriously ??) . According to her that was not a book for a little kid. I prayed for my unknown sin and started looking for an wise and old guy nearby who could tell me what was hidden inside that sacred book, but they did disappoint me with some vague explanations. I realized that the new generation doesn't care about this book and the old generation care so much that they avoid touching it .   After hi-school, I purchased this...
